GIUDA

GIUDA. OK, this band from Italy totally kicked my fucking ass. Not only did they look cool as hell decked out completely in black, instruments and all, but they played some heavy as lead, fucking annihilating crust metal that made me go fucking mad with excellent enjoyment. I have to take a moment here to say how awesome it is that I can go see all kinds of killer bands from all over the world play in basements for cheap. Shit, sometimes it feels like a private concert just for me, it's amazing. I also want to laugh in the face of everyone who pays big money to see washed up old bands like the Police and Bruce Springsteen, and then is excited that they were "only fifty feet away from the stage!" HA HA HA. That sucks. Long live underground DIY music! So anyway, back at the Giuda show, I stopped thrashing my skull just long enough to snap a few pics, and here they are:

Three posts a year!

So this is my marvelous 3rd post of fantastic fotos for y'all to enjoy. I know my legions of fan has been waiting a very long time for this. Well, now you can quit holding your breath and breathe once more because I have finally remembered that I wanted to do this thing! So, my way to long and drunken commentary will probably be absent for most of this, because I can't remember all of that stuff very well from the last year or so, but I will be posting pictures of bands, for some reason. Who are these guys? Skinhead hippies? No they're Genesis Climber from Oakland, CA. Anyway these guys played a pretty sweet progressive metal - hardcore hybrid of some sort. I kept wanting them to bust out some Man Is The Bastard, but alas, they did not. They did rock fucking hard, however, in a rather cerebral and technical way. They had no vinyl for me, so I have yet to hear them recorded, but check them out!! Here are three more shots of their ugly mugs:
